Very quietly, it looks like Godaddy.com increased the starting bid on its finished domain auctions from Ten to Twelve Dollars , an increase of Twenty Percent .
Although I didn’t get a warned of the status}, (even though I purchase domains on their system all the time), I confirmed with my Godaddy representative who told me he didn’t ever get a warning about the price rising.
“This is the first I heard of it as well”, he told me.
After looking with the powers that be, he confirmed that the minimum starting price on finished domain auctions raised to twelve dollars.
Of course as finishing auctions go, Godaddy.com prices are well under that of NameJet.com and SnapNames.com so I think you can’t complaint too much.
But some sort of warning will have been a good touch
